Indoor field hockey is a fast, fun-filled, and skill building game that is one of the fastest growing sports in the US. Indoor is played on a smooth-surfaced court about one and a half times the size of a basketball court.
Nomads offers indoor as a winter sport because we believe that playing indoor develops:

2010-2011 INDOOR RECAP
Our 2010 -11 season marked the growth in the sport of field hockey and indoor field hockey in the USA. For the first time the USFHA held a National Tournament which included a U14 age group. Keeping with this year of growth the Nomads had a U14, two U16 and one U19 National team roster for the first time. An exciting addition to the Indoor season and the growth and exposure of our talented youth.
Both U16 teams and our U19 teams participated in National qualifying tournaments in January. Our U 19 team was selected in the USFHA lottery and traveled to Richmound, VA in March to participate in the National Indoor Tournament!
The Tournament was exciting and full of talented teams with college coaches from all over the United States, there to scout players. It was an eye opening experience for our U19 teams who were participating in their first National Tournament.
